Receptionist / Sales Support Representative

M.H. Eby, Inc.- a leading manufacturer of aluminum trailers and truck bodies, is looking for an energetic individual to join our team. The Receptionist / Sales Support Representative will provide general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks, including answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, and getting/welcoming and directing customers with a positive, helpful attitude. The ideal candidate should be able to interact with a wide range of clientele in a friendly, customer-oriented manner.

Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Answers multi-line telephone system and directs the caller to the appropriate associate. Will transfer a caller to an associate’s voice mail when the associate is unavailable.
  • Takes detailed phone messages when necessary and delivers to appropriate personnel.
  • Greets and directs visitors to the company.
  • Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company website and other related information.
  • Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, filing, scanning & uploading documents.
  • Processes outgoing and distributes incoming daily mail.
  • Keeps updated emergency contact, Safety Data Sheet log and employee department list for emergencies.
  • Announces emergencies over the Phone/PA system as deemed per Emergency Action and Fire Prevention Plan.
  • Using computers to enter, access or retrieve data, type letters or correspondence, ensure correct grammar, punctuation or spelling, proofread printed or written material.
  • Operate business machines.
  • Maintain and update filing, mailing and database systems, either manually or using a computer.
  • Serve as Sales Support for Dealer Team including invoicing for dealer orders, preparing & shipping ownership documents, noting received payments, and maintaining awareness of past due dealer accounts.
  • Invoices truck body fleet customers as assigned.
  • Assists with projects as needed in Marketing, Accounting, HR, Warranty, etc.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
  • Effectively comply with all company safety standards
